All proceeds from cars donated to this site is used to benefit Family Care Foundation (FCF), an IRS registered nonprofit organization. FCF provides humanitarian services, support and training to grassroots organizations in developing countries. Your car donation helps provide humanitarian development and disaster relief in over 50 countries.

V-DAC car donation program tries to control its costs in order to return as much of the gross proceeds to the designated charities. The amount a charity receives varies with the age, condition and type of vehicle. As stated in V-DAC´s site: "From the net recovery amount, the charity receives 75% for vehicles that sell for more than $500 and 70% for vehicles that sell for less than $500. V-Dac receives the remainder as its program management and administration fee. From this amount, V-Dac pays ICA, the "central charity", a 3.75% funds processing fee." |
