The mission of the American Lung Association® is to prevent lung disease and promote lung health by helping people quit smoking, funding research, improving indoor and outdoor air quality, and educating millions about asthma. Up till this day, more then 650,000 vehicles has been donated and more then $150 million were raised. Kidney Cars will pass 73% of the donation to its mission. 
The Teddy Bear Cops Program provides thousands of teddy bears to police, fire and emergency vehicles to be given to children who have experienced a catastrophe and are in the grip of trauma, in hopes of preventing or reducing, any lasting emotional damage to those children by easing them away from sliding into a state of shock. Their stated mission is to get teddy bears into the hands of police and fire official across the country, so that they can give a cuddly bear to a stricken child. |
